Animal ID: DylanDylan (male)
I'm DYLAN, a one-year-old, 47-pound sweet hound mix. (Check out my video to see my happy puppy-ness playing with my friend!) I was in a loving home, but my daddy had to give me up because he was going to jail. (Is that like a kennel where it's cold and fenced in? I don't want to go there!) I want to be in a warm, cozy home again with someone like you. I think you're going to want to scoop me up because I'm super affectionate, loving and gentle. Plus, I'm pretty cute, don't you think? I'm DYLAN. Come get me soon! DYLAN is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on core vaccines. Adoption fee is $395. Please note that training is highly recommended for all young dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are DYLAN'S hero! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-05-12-00312Marcus (male)
Marcus is a very playful puppy! He is 8 months old and loves to go on walks and run in the yard. He loves to chew on things so you will have to make sure your shoes are up high! Right now Marcus is with myself and my husband along with my 2 kids. He is good with children but can jump up when he is in a playful mood. We are in need of finding him a GOOD HOME because I don't think that he is given the attention that he needs. We aren't home a lot and are constantly on the run with my children. Please contact me if you would like to meet Marcus or have any questions!

Animal ID: DouglasDouglas (male)
I'm DOUGLAS and I'm a hound mix who's about 2-1/2 years old and weigh 47 lbs. Did you see the Zorro mask on my eyes? I'm a superhero! Take a look at my video to see me in full action!) Here are my superpowers at work. I'm all about affection and am a pro at giving it and getting it. I'll play with your other dogs and I can ignore the cat. I'll mind the yard for big, bad intruders. (You can rely on me!) I've got this housebreaking thing down, I walk pretty well on a leash, and I'm a good car rider. I'm probably not good for a family with little ones because I jump with excitement and might topple them. (Did you see my bouncing skills in my video?) I can help you keep in shape when we run around together. (Grab my leash! Let's get going!) If you want to scratch my ears while we watch TV together, I wouldn't mind. (I'd actually love it! Where's the clicker?) I'm waiting for you to come get me, and I'll be Superdog in return. I'm DOUGLAS! DOUGLAS is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on core vaccines. Adoption fee is $325. Please note that training is highly recommended for all young dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are DOUGLAS'S hero! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-12-22-00243Penny (female)
PENNY is an adorable 7 month old hound mix, and even though she's had a ruff start, this little girl wants nothing but to lick your face and cuddle! Poor PENNY was starved for more than attention, as you can tell from her younger photo! One of our alumni gave us a heads-up to this little one being sold and asked for help. Of course we said yes! We got her well, up to date on shots, spayed, and off to a great foster home, where PENNY has just completed doggie bootcamp and training and now she is ready to find a new home. PENNY is good on the leash and loves to hike and play fetch. PENNY loves other dogs, but can be dominant, so she will need reminders from dog-savvy adopters. Her current trainer recommends that she continue with her training, because for a dog like PENNY, this is what she loves to do. We are looking for a home, that can provide structure and can continue with her basic training and can enroll her in a doggie day care to avoid long crating periods. We recommend a home with children over the age of 13 for our Penny-girl. |PIease Read Before Adopting a Foxhound in Pennsylvania|
Foxhound Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The American Foxhound is a fierce pack hunter with a gentle and affectionate disposition when among people. Foxhounds are especially sociable with other dogs. This breed is a natural hunter and is not a good choice for a household with pets other than dogs. American Foxhounds are generally good with children. Some are very protective and others are friendly toward strangers. The American Foxhound can be somewhat difficult to housebreak, will follow interesting scents, and may take off after squirrels, etc. These dogs are best suited to a home with some acreage.
